Resolution Run

This year for New Year's Eve we went out with friends: Holley, James, Tina (Tate's preschool teacher) and her husband Dave, went back to Tina and Dave's house to play some Rockband (where I found out that I SUCK at playing guitar but might have a future in drums :), and then head out for a midnight Resolution Run on NAS Whidbey.

Here we all are ready geared up and ready to run. Now we just needed Navy personnel to get us on the base. Since our friend Sarah was gone to Texas visiting her parents we called up her husband John to tell him to run the race with us, and, oh yeah, to get us on the base. I realize we have no pictures of John but he was vital to this run because otherwise we would not have made it!

Welcome to 2010!
In this picture we are almost done with the race. We were dead last because of me (being about 23 weeks pregnant and already showing A LOT, I was pretty slow), but Tina and Holley stuck with me and we had a great time.
One of the guys who put the race together followed us around in a van and hopped out at a couple of points to take pictures of us together. Then not long after this point the guys, Andy, James and John, came back and ran with us to the finish line. It was a lot of fun!
