And they're off!!
Coming down the first hill (the guys aren't in this because there is no way I could move that fast!).
This is roughly about 3 miles into the race. Andy is in front. . .(the guy in front of him is running the 5k race not the 30k)
And James is in 3rd, right behind that guy in the picture.
Here is Andy winning the race with time of 1:54:38, getting first by almost 6 minutes over second place. He was really cruising even though he was out in front all by himself.
But wait, who is that in second place??? Yep, it's James who smoked the guy that was in front of him previously, and finished with a time of 2:00:17. He placed second with more than a minute to spare from third place! These guys were working hard on their goal for Boston and they felt good for this race!

They both won a plaque for coming in 1st and 2nd overall.

They both also got a ribbon for winning in their age group.
Congrats to both guys for running an amazing race! We are all so proud of your hard work and dedication!
