Whidbey Island 1/2 Marathon

So normally we have several people in a race but this race is all about Holley! She is the only one who ran the Whidbey Island 1/2 marathon because Andy and James are running Boston in one week and me, well besides the fact that it's a 1/2 marathon and not in my forte, well, I'm huge and pregnant.

So we all went out and watched Holley. Here she is just after the start. She looks happy, doesn't she?

This was down at City Beach park, roughly half way through. Still looking happy!
There she goes, ready to kick it in for a great next half of the race.
And a happy finish with an amazing time of 2:04:32. That is a PR by almost two minutes over her previous 1/2 marathon last year at Bellingham Bay. She didn't think she could do it because Whidbey is a harder course with more hills but she totally kicked it!! Great job Holley!
